Broad Oak Studios Limited built the leave your Egos at the door app as a Free app. This Application is provided by Broad Oak Studios Limited at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Application.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in the Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at leave your Egos at the door and within the Application unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

The DPA & GDPR May 2018

We and this Application comply to the DPA (Data Protection Act 1998) and already comply to the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) which came into effect from May 2018. We will update this policy accordingly after the completion of the UK's exit from the European Union.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

If you choose to use our Application, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Application. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

When you use the Application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to determine the city you are located within and display a relevant location map if you have agreed to this when installing the application. We do not share your current location with other users or partners.

If you do not want to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off the location services for the mobile application located in your account settings or in your mobile phone settings and/or within the mobile application.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Yes. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

The Application does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

What are my opt-out rights?

Acceptance of the following may be configured within the Application if such a feature is present:

  • Collection of log data
  • Receipt of marketing notifications

Additionally you can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you'd like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Application, in a case of an error in the Application we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data if you have agreed to it. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Application, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

We adopt a Social Media Policy to ensure our business and our staff conduct themselves accordingly online. While we may have official profiles on social media platforms users are advised to verify authenticity of such profiles before engaging with, or sharing information with such profiles.
